    Description

Up for sale is a very interesting piece of WWII US mail.  This 1940-dated envelope by H FISHLOVE & CO of Chicago encourages staying out of the conflict.  "Fools step in where wise men stay out" and "Let's stay out of this" express antiwar sentiment.  Inside is a miniature pair of cloth knickers.  Very interesting piece with 1942 postmark...when the US was already in the war.  Closed it measures 4.5x3.5"
