    Description

    Vintage 1930s Lipton's Tea Bags tin. This tin is dated by the inscription on the lid referencing Lipton as a tea merchant to His Majesty King George V of England. The tin is gold in color, with red, white, orange and black lettering. Tin does shows rust and wear on the lid, as would be expected with a piece of this age. The inside of the tin is in good condition with some rust and scuffs consistent with age. This tin originally contained 12 bags of Lipton's Orange Pekoe & Pekoe tea. Tin measures 6.25" x 3.25" x 1.15". A rare and charming vintage piece!
