Vintage Laprade Desmaison Ice Axe, 25" long, axe head 11".

Description

Vintage Laprade Desmaison Ice Axe. Approximately 25" long and 11" at the axe end. Made in France. Signs of normal wear and use for its age. I have had this axe for many years, but I have not used it in about 10 years. I'm too old to use any more (A cane is more my style these days) but it is fully functional and still has its end cap after all these years.
