    Description

    This round Aztec calendar plaque is offered in very good condition.  New owner may want to polish it as there are lots of little fingerprints and smudges on the back.  Plaque measures 11" across and has a little hanger on the back that is marked ALPACA and MEXICO.   The images in the center of the plaque are in raised relief and are very detailed.   Colorful 1 1/8" pieces of abalone shell decorate the outer edge, very attractive.  Age is unknown, but it looks vintage to me.  I took pictures of it with both a black and a white background to give you a better view.
