    Description

    I recently purchased several pieces of Tiffany & Co. jewelry from an estate sale and was told that they were purchased from the T & Co. in Boston (I have a receipt that corresponds to some of the pieces).
    This auction is for a T & Co. 1837 charm.  It was worn on a sterling silver snake chain, which is not Tiffany, but will be included with the charm.  As you can see from the pictures, this particular piece is engraved on the back side of the piece.  I contacted Tiffany and was told that it could be removed by them for .00.  I elected NOT to send the piece to them for removal of the engraving because it is likely that any jeweler could do it for a lesser price.
