Hello and thanks for looking. I’ll start off by saying this is located in Arizona and will ship from AZ (not MA)  so our handling time will be an extra day for logistics.
This instrument was obtained out of a wire mill in Joliet Illinois by my grandfather. This has been in my fathers possession for the last two dozen or so years. The box is an original K&E box but not “original” to this instrument. The box was left over from another model when the mill was disposing of these instruments back in the day and my grandfather thought a wrong model box would be better than no box at all.
This is a used item and shows wear from industrial use but is very cool item for display. The metal tag for the box is taped inside as it was not attached.  The interior paper tag is falling apart so its been covered in plastic to keep in box.  From discussing with my father, the tag is basically just pieces.  However, its the instrument that is the prize.  Please look at photos, and ask any questions about this item before purchase. We have just updated photos with a white background to "see" the item better.
As this is a vintage collectible item we will jot accept returns on this item. The condition is documented by the photos and this is the item you will receive. This item will be insured for shipping too for both our protection as well as yours.
