Shirt Vintage French wool ecru toned workwear w/ open pits 1900-1930 button up

A wonderful French Vintage wool work shirt dating from 1900-1930. Wonderful heavy ecru toned wool with a twill weave!  You can see the blue and pink selvages of this fabric at the end of one sleeve and at the bottom of this charming shirt!  This shirt has open pits, so it was probably worn as an undergarment in cooler weather to avoid staining during work.  This shirt appears to be unused, but the fabric looks to have warmed unevenly with age.  This discoloration may change or wash out when this is laundered.  ~ * ~Please view photographs of construction and condition using the zoom feature on the photographs~  ~*~ ( 43 )
MEASUREMENTS :
This lovely textile measures approximately
31 inches long
10.5 inch sleeves
26.5 inches across the chest, laid flat from one underarm to the other
Shoulders are 16 inches laid straight across the back
CONDITION :
This wonderful textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition.  The ground seems to have warmed unevenly with age, and there may be a few small pale marks from storage.  Condition reflected in the price.
