Rare Gun Trophy antique pewter mug rifle gun match Military Engraved English Beauty!  The most beautiful engraved trophy and it says Won by Lieutenant Morris West Middlesex Rifles highest score 44 marks in a match at 200 500 & 600 yards against the 1st battalion Queen's Westminster Rifles. November 3rd 1864.  These are very unusual pewter marks on this mug and it is a trophy of some kind and antique trophy. The bottom is glass the pewter is beautiful and I guess it has something to do with rifles or a gun shooting match or contest sort of like a military gun metal but it's in the shape of a mug it's stunning. I need the money so I am bringing out some of my higher end items and this is one I swore I would never part with but I need the cash. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Insured.  I don't know if it's British military or a military item but the person was a lieutenant.  Turns out could be very famous in the British army the Irish army?   Famous lieutenant that?  He might have been in the Irish guards battalion. Civil War?  If anyone has information as to who this gentleman is please let me know
