Every civilization that I know anything about – throughout history, to include modern times, uses the hide of animals instead of discarding them.
to properly cure a hide, first, all the flesh and all the fat has to be scraped off – hard work – yet you have to be careful not to damage the hide – and each civilization developed their own tools for the job.
I acquired a large collection of Arrowheads and other artifacts in a horse-trade.
finally took them out to see what is here, and this old cowboy is fascinated.
I’m hoping to find customers that are serious about the artifacts they collect.
