What an incredible estate find... These 1960's Brevetto Italy Ice Crampons were worn on Mount Everest by Jim Armstrong. Provenance accounts him on an expedition in which a vast number of his party perished. He lived to be into his 90's. His wife is the famous psychic to the world, stars, politicians, etc, Anne Armstrong. I was told that the pair lived an amazing life filled with much adventure and literary success. These Mountain Climbing Collectibles are stamped size 40, Made in Italy and Brevetto. The metal is pitted from their use and wear and the leather is a wee bit brittle, giving them their rugged patina. Please see photos for condition. Sold Estate Fresh, As-Is.
