John Glenn Space Flight Audio tape! Mercury 7!. This is a ONE OF A KIND vintage original reel to reel audio tape of the historic John Glenn space flight on February 20th, 1962. It was recorded directly of the tv as it happened!! I got this from mu Uncle many years ago. And it is in great playable condition in its original box and wrapping. Info is handwritten on the back. I was able to get a machine andtransfer the tape in my home studio on to a single cd. It will come with the tape for reference. It is an amazing audio document of the event. It time was is over a hour long. My uncle edited the taping as he went aling. No commercials. It captures the pre flight coverage by news commentary, the countdown and liftoff, the slashdown, and audio replay of communication with Glenn during the flight. It also has President Kennedy speaking about the flight afterwards. An incredible piece of NASA space flight history!! No other copy exists, and it has necer been heard by anyone other than me, mu uncle, and family at that time. Sell as is as a rare space collectible. No returns as these audios can be copied.
