Set of 2 U.S. postage stamps commemorating astronaut John Glenn's space accomplishments.
Mint, post office fresh condition.
The stamps and years issued are as follows:
1962 - Project Mercury - Glenn became the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the earth in the Friendship 7 space capsule.
2000 - Space Shuttle - Glenn returned to space in the space shuttle Discovery in 1998 and at age 77 became the oldest American to go into space.
