You are looking at a really nice
Fisher-Price GeoTrax Timbertown Railway Setup that includes the following:
- Steam-era styled engine with tender and freight car (the simulated steam in the engine's smoke stack rised up and down as the engine moves)
- Handheld remote control
- 42 sections of snap-together track
- Freight station
- Mountain top mine with freight loading hook
- 3 accessories (2 types of freight and 1 small rock outcropping)
The layout shown is a double loop measuring about 64" x 34" but other configurations are possible. The handheld remote control and the engine are battery operated (the batteries are actually in the tender). The remote control is where the sounds come from. Both have been tested on this layout and work great. Both devices have clean battery compartments. Each device uses 3 standard "AAA" size batteries (no batteries are included).
