    Description

    An original Civil War related letter including the cover written by Selah Holden who was a soldier during the war. This was written by him when he was a civilian.  It is dated 1866 from Highland Doniphan County Kansas.  In one area he talks about sheep and timber and prairie wolfs.   I currently have a letter listed that he wrote during the war.
    The letter and cover have wear and stain marks.
