An original Civil War related letter including the cover. The cover has the send to address of William H. Holden who was in the 10th Illinois Regiment. This letter was sent to him after the war. The letter appears to be dated 1869.  It appears to be dated from Journal Office Louisville Kentucky. There is also writing on the back. I currently have other items listed that belonged to this individual.
The letter and cover have wear, the writing is light and hard to read in areas. The cover has wear.
