    Description

    Civil War battlefield dug Eagle buttons.  Found on private property with permission near the Bloody Angle battlefield in Spotsylvania VA.  Genuine Civil War relic Eagle buttons include a pre Civil War Eagle Infantry, Eagle A Artillery and Navy Eagle with anchor button. The Eagle A coat size button is smashed flat like a poker chip and the Navy coat size button is missing it's shank otherwise all are in sound condition. All excavated buttons were found near the scene of the great battle that took place here over 150 years ago!
