    Description

This handmade commemorative mini paddle, which appears to have been created in remembrance of the Anglo-Powhatan war/wars, is a beautiful piece. This artifact was just imported from England, from an avid collector of historical artifacts. Although the places and dates scribed on the paddle refer to the "New Word", the "Anglo" people involved were distinctly British (British colonists, etc.). We do not have an exact make-date, but we surmise it was made some time in the 1800s. It appears to be made of cedar and is 22.5" long. That's all the background we have on this museum-quality item.
