The work was performed in compliance with the technical direction of Dr. Richard Shorthill, University of Utah Research Institute. The objective of this study was to Analyze a set of Apollo-14 and earth based lunar data to assess the feasiblity of classifying lunar surface material with the computer-automated techniques of factor and cluster anaysis.
