    Original lot of 9-1870s period letters with covers-from Cartersville Georgia to Brentwood Tenn...these were written to John R Gibbons who served during the Civil War in the 1st Virginia Cavalry...these are from his prospective " girl friend " ,Annie Felton and are basically love letters with news from home (they married in 1875).....havent gone into detail-scanned them for content and dont know if they mention war time incidents....shes quite standoffish and refers to him as her friend and is only 16 at the time and feels shes young to marry etc..covers and letters are clean and readable with no major issues and normal wear-...looks and displays well and are guaranteed original and authentic ...Shipping is via USPS in US and overseas…...always glad to combine on multiple buys when possible
