1931 Ford Model A Wide Box Pickup Box

PLEASE  NOTE :
I took some photos and dimensions as it was getting dark this evening. I will work on the photos or get better ones tomorrow. This box is 56" wide across the outsides of both bottom side pieces. It is 54" wide across the outsides of the tops of the angled flare sides. The angled flare sides measure 61" or 5'-1" long. This is the very hard to find "wide box" for a later 1931 Model A Ford pickup truck. This larger and taller version was introduced around June of 1931 at about the same time Ford started using a steel top on the pickup and truck closed cab bodies.
This box is quite similar to the 1932 pickup box except the 1932 version does not have the very distinctive curved arch at the top of the front panel like this box does. That feature is hard to see here because the top of the front panel is bent forward a bit.
The worst part of this box has to be the floor that is rusted through in some places. I just received an email from a very helpful enthusiast mentioning that Snyder's has a reproduction floor for this box available. I will try to check that out soon and add a note here.
